But now I understand why Tesla designed the Model X (and Model S) to look the way they do. More conventional bodystyles actually make them appear to be worth half the asking prices. No way anyone would pay over $70k for that MPV render even if it had the same performance and tech as the Model X below.

I think we have our answer as to why it seems only the premium players are creating so many odd bodystyles.

I think it looks better the way it is, though the rear could use some tweaks

Looks like Honda / Toyota visited Tesla, sneaked out some Tesla sauce and spread that shit ALLL OVERR their Odyssey / Sienna.

But yes, better looking than the Model X.
